Ladies evenings – Rifles
The OSM welcomes ladies into the sport of shooting. We have just started to book targets on Tuesday evenings (once a month) that are reserved for ladies. The targets are paper, set at distances from 10 to 50 yards. The coaches are mostly men because we don’t have enough lady shooters/coaches yet, but it is run by women offering a social, friendly, professional environment that allows you to enjoy your shooting time in a relaxed way. We shoot .22, .357 and .44. These are smaller calibres so they have a little less kick. We are also on a sheltered range so there is cover on the firing points, a lounge to relax in, food, tea and coffee on offer and acceptable toilet facilities. Ladies shotgun events.
Once a month on Saturday and a Sunday we have shotgun shoots around Surrey. The host/coach is female and we often have women attend. If you would like to try a little shotgun shooting (shooting moving targets made of clay), then it is a fabulous opportunity to get out in the fresh air, try out a new sport, make friends and enjoy the confidence that goes with learning a new skill.
